Established in 1962, the UP Library and Information Science Students’ Association (UP LISSA)was the sole institute-based student organization in UP Institute of Library Science. Now in its 46th year, with the objectives of fostering camaraderie and unity among members, UP LISSa continues to promote scholastic and socio-cultural development of its members and provide opportunities for members to lead and serve the institute, university and nation. Since its early years, UP LISSA has produced among the country’s best librarians and information managers and specialists.
